Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath LAB

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experienced in circulating cardiac cath/structural cases with working knowledge of cath lab equipment, procedures, and moderate sedation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Advanced skill set for scrubbing/assisting with MD preferred. Previous experience monitoring cases preferred.

Preferred Credentials: CVRN preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: Standard cardiac cath and structural cases. Uses standard cath lab equipment, including Boston, Abbott, Medtronic, Terumo, and Abiomed. Uses Merge documentation system. 3-person lab with 4-person call team.

Shift & Scheduling: Call shifts up to 14 per month with the standard 10-12 shifts per month.

Floating Requirements: May float to EP Lab.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CVRN-Level II
