Lead Service Tech HVAC

Description Lead HVAC Technician – Commercial & Residential Overview Bleuwave HVAC is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and energetic Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential HVAC/R systems across a variety of projects and property types. Responsibilities Travel to commercial and residential job sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems. Troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical system issues. Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform HVAC system modifications and retrofit installations. Conduct preventative maintenance on boilers, refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and related equipment. Utilize diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and welding tools when necessary. Complete service calls and work orders efficiently and professionally. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Assist with training and supporting junior technicians when needed. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service and repair experience preferred. Strong background in commercial and residential HVAC systems. Experience with refrigeration systems, boilers, and mechanical equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with system installations, retrofits, and preventative maintenance. EPA Certification required. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Welding experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field. Experience in property management, commercial facilities, or service operations preferred.
