Supported Employment SpecialistLocation: Parker, CO Company: To The Rescue Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Schedule with Community-Based TravelHelp individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, succeed in the workplace, and maintain meaningful employment in their community.About The RoleTo The Rescue is seeking a Supported Employment Specialist to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find success in community employment. In this role, you'll provide one-on-one job coaching, workplace support, and guidance that helps individuals build confidence, develop independence, and maintain meaningful employment.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployment SupportProvide on-site job coaching and workplace supportAssist members with learning job duties and meeting employer expectationsSupport workplace communication, accommodations, scheduling, and time-off requestsEncourage increasing independence while providing individualized supportMember Support & DocumentationFollow individualized service plans and employment goalsComplete required documentation accurately and on timeMonitor member well-being and respond appropriately to changing support needsProvide direct support based on each individual's plan of care, including medication administration when requiredCollaboration & Community EngagementBuild positive relationships with employers, members, families, and community partnersCommunicate regularly with internal teams regarding member progressParticipate in trainings and team meetingsWhat We're Looking ForPassion for helping others succeedStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPatient, dependable, and encouragingComfortable working independently throughout the communityOrganized and able to manage multiple members and schedulesValid driver's license and eligibility for company vehicle insuranceMust be at least 18 years oldPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredSix months or more of experience supporting individuals with disabilitiesExperience in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, job coaching, human services, or direct support is a plusWork EnvironmentCommunity-based role with regular travel throughout the Parker and Denver metro areaFlexible schedule based on member and employer needsCombination of community, workplace, office, and residential settingsTo The Rescue is an equal opportunity employer.
