Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for individuals spanning pediatric and adult populations, utilizing standardized testing measures and observational assessments.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to align with both immediate and long-term communication goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on enhancing language, articulation, fluency, voice control, and swallowing capability.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and family members, to ensure an integrative treatment approach.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress and understanding beyond clinical sessions.
• Occasionally handle inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring that each patient's care pathway is consistent and supportive.
• Maintain precise and timely records in accordance with industry standards and organization procedures.
• Engage in continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology practices.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licensure and Certifications

• A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
