Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Dallas, Texas At Lakewest Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare services that empower individuals to reach their full potential. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate COTA to join our team. About the Role: As Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide occupational therapy services to our patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will work closely with our therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on improving our patients' functional abilities and overall well-being. Your expertise will help our patients regain independence, confidence, and mobility, ultimately promoting their successful transition back to their community. Responsibilities:
• Assist occupational therapists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of occupational therapy interventions
• Provide occupational therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and education
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and efficiently Requirements:
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• 0 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
