This is an exciting place to contribute to meaningful work in a dynamic and growing field.We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our team and lead a skilled maintenance crew. In this role, you will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment and facilities operate at peak efficiency. You will mentor and train your team, maintain safety standards, and manage maintenance operations to meet quality and productivity goals. This is a hands-on leadership position where your expertise will help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.Shift: M-F 8am-5pm Location: Manassas, VA 100% OnsiteThe RoleProvide leadership and direct supervision to the maintenance mechanic crewCreate preventive and predictive maintenance programs to increase operational throughputSchedule, train, and mentor the team for maximum efficiencyEnsure adequate staffing, direction, discipline, and corrective actionOversee planning and execution of daily production activitiesManage operations to improve performance through continuous improvement and problem analysisReduce unscheduled downtime, equipment stops, breakdowns, and process upsetsDirect employees in proper safety procedures and eliminate avoidable accidentsFacilitate project work and ensure successful implementation within set parametersSet up and oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programsServe as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) championManage production changeoversMaintain vendor performance records for evaluation and reviewSupport and meet company Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM)Track, report, and post efficiency and reliability performance of each machineParticipate in all required training to perform job responsibilitiesManage maintenance budget and execute cost efficiency initiativesOther duties as assignedThe CandidateAssociate degree or 5-10 years of related experience and/or trainingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skillsAbility to prioritize and follow through to achieve results and meet deadlinesStrong leadership skills with the ability to build trust, provide direction, and execute with excellenceSolid foundation in interpersonal communication, including written, oral, presentation, listening, and facilitation skillsAbility to facilitate change, foster innovation, and deliver resultsAbility to coordinate multiple priorities and develop effective solutionsKnowledge of machinery operations and equipmentAbility to lift 50 poundsThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking or hearing are required.
