Activity Aide

CareCore at Mary Scott is looking for an energetic, compassionate Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working with seniors, bringing people together, and creating a fun and engaging environment, we'd love to meet you.
Schedule: 10:00am-4:00pm, 4 days weekly with an every-other weekend rotation. What You'll Do:- Assist with daily recreational and social activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Help plan games, crafts, events, celebrations, and group activities
- Spend one-on-one time with residents as needed
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities
- Work closely with the Activities Director and other departments
- Prior experience supporting residents with dementia and memory-related conditions is required
- Compassion and patience when working with seniors
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Long-term care or activities experience is a plus, but not required
- Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
