Position summary: Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all types of trucks and/or equipment to maximize safe and productive operations on site at customer's locations. This position will have an impact in the following areas: customer relations, equipment diagnosis, failures of a motor vehicle and/or its related equipment and will involve professionalism, service/product training, and gathering new business relationships with prospective customers.

Representative responsibilities include inspecting trucks and/or equipment, checking, filling and changing out appropriate fluids, greasing, oiling, and lubricating components, performing adjustments, maintaining and/or changing air, oil, coolant and fuel filters, performing cooling systems maintenance, identifying and designating problems, completing necessary repair and preventive maintenance work, checking safety equipment on truck and/or equipment, driving truck in and out of repair area, following all safety policies and procedures, completing required paperwork, representing the company core values, performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical requirements include lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling at least 50 pounds, climbing into and out of truck, and working in the outside environment.

Required: Valid driver license, valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment. Preferred: Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D certification, prior mechanic experience, automotive certification, service excellence classification: medium/heavy truck.
