Inspector - 1st Shift

Overview Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Inspector – 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA! The core hours are 7 am – 3:30 pm, M‑F. The hourly rate for this position is $24 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What You’ll Do The Inspector performs verification inspection of Eaton’s suppliers detailed components. They also perform verification inspections of Eaton’s product for compliance to customers requirements. In This Function, You Will Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment Use thorough knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Be familiar with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100 Interact with co-workers and customer representative Perform verification inspection of Eaton’s supplier’s detailed components Perform verification inspection of Eaton’s product for compliance to customer’s requirements Assist customer source inspectors as required Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment Minimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints Experience using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, thread gauge, etc. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine use, programming ability is preferred.
