This role is responsible for leading our construction operations team and driving execution excellence across multiple residential renovation projects simultaneously. You deeply understand residential construction, project sequencing, and how all moving pieces connect — from demo to final punch. You can read construction plans fluently and proactively identify issues long before they become expensive problems. You naturally think 2–3 weeks ahead, anticipating bottlenecks, delays, and resource constraints before the rest of the team even sees them coming. You communicate clearly, directly, and without drama. You tell the truth, solve problems fast, and keep everyone aligned. You have extreme ownership. No excuses. No finger-pointing. You take responsibility and get things DONE. You are emotionally intelligent and know how to push contractors, vendors, and teammates to higher standards without losing trust or relationships. You are a systems thinker who builds scalable processes instead of constantly firefighting recurring problems. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Project Management team to achieve KPI performance and operational excellence. Build, improve, and optimize systems, workflows, and operational processes across the construction department. Manage project capacity, timelines, throughput, and team resources to ensure projects stay on track. Help project managers and field teams solve problems quickly while removing obstacles that slow execution. Oversee contractor, vendor, and subcontractor performance to maintain high accountability and results. Ensure projects consistently meet WeRevive quality, safety, and construction standards. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and progress reviews to maintain execution excellence. Collaborate closely with acquisitions, dispositions, and finance teams to align project execution with business goals. Lead from the front and do whatever it takes to help the team win. Qualifications 3+ years of residential construction project management experience, ideally overseeing multiple active renovation projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of residential permitting processes, inspections, code requirements, and municipality coordination. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, scheduling, scopes of work, and vendor management. Ability to fully read and interpret residential construction plans and drawings. Proven experience leading project managers, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to high performance. Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. High-level problem-solving ability and confidence in making decisions under pressure. Strong systems and process mindset with a passion for operational excellence. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to project sites throughout San Diego County. Tech-savvy and comfortable using project management software, spreadsheets, and CRMs. Ideally holds a contractor’s license and/or speaks Spanish. Benefits Health Insurance to keep you covered.
