Equipment OperatorThe Equipment Operator plays a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery used in various industrial, construction, or agricultural settings. This position requires the operator to handle equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, or forklifts to support project completion and maintain workflow continuity. The operator must ensure all machinery is operated according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines to prevent accidents and equipment damage. Additionally, the role involves routine inspection and maintenance of equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues promptly. Ultimately, the Equipment Operator contributes to the overall success of projects by delivering precise, timely, and safe equipment operation.This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her own safety as well as the safety of others.Essential Job Functions:Operate the applicator by injecting approved material on permitted fields and maintain environmental compliance.Obey and flag buffered zones on permitted fields before application.Pull soil samples and have soil analysis completed before moving onto a new field.Record and subtract loads applied in the field log after every application.Use best management practices when applying, to ensure that the application is done correctly and the landowner's property is being treated with respect.Monitor land usage.Monitor frac tank levels and report to the manager daily.Maintain accurate and correct paperwork (not an all-inclusive listing): Field Logs; Gator DVIRs, Environmental Logs, etc.Inspect all paperwork that is sent off to corporate, ensuring the following: filled out completely, signed, dated, corrected (if necessary), and you agree with the documents you are signing.Inspect and maintain all equipment being used in the field.Be aware of all equipment malfunctions and parts repair or replacement.Ensure safe equipment operation.Accurately complete Gator DVIR on a daily basis.Follow Terragator PM Schedule for services and greasing of all fittings.Ensure the Area Manager is aware of all equipment issues.Maintain a safe work environment, wearing all proper PPE while in operation.Report any and all spills to management immediately.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDMust be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.Valid driver's licenseexperience preferred.Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs+.What We Offer:Mission-driven work in a rapidly growing sustainability companyOpportunities for professional growth and learningCollaborative, values-driven team cultureCompetitive salary and benefitsWhy You'll Love Working at Denali- Benefits & PerksAt Denali, the work we do begins and ends with you – our employees.
