Supply Chain Associate (Clinical Supply & Operations)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Supply Chain Associate to bridge the gap between clinical trial demand and manufacturing execution. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that life-saving clinical supplies reach global trial sites on time and in full. You will translate complex clinical demand into actionable supply requirements, overseeing the movement of materials and the execution of manufacturing campaigns.

Core Responsibilities
• Demand Modeling: Convert clinical trial enrollment forecasts and demand into specific supply requirements; communicate these needs clearly to internal and external manufacturing groups.
• Manufacturing Coordination: Plan and execute necessary API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing campaigns to ensure consistent supply availability.
• Inventory & Logistics: Manage inventory movement and maintain adequate depot levels to prevent stock-outs at clinical sites.
• Vendor Management: Oversight of third-party vendors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met for clinical supply initiatives.
• Systems Maintenance: Utilize and maintain supply/demand planning tools to ensure data accuracy and real-time visibility into the supply chain.
• Stakeholder Communication: Represent the clinical supply group to Senior Leadership and cross-functional project teams, communicating milestones, progress against goals, and proactive risk mitigation.

Candidate Requirements
The Essentials (Must-Haves):
• Clinical Supply Experience: Direct experience managing the supply chain specifically for Clinical Trials (Phases I-III).
• Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to manage supply/demand planning tools and translate clinical protocols into material requirements.
• API Knowledge: Familiarity with the planning and execution of API manufacturing campaigns.
• Logistics Oversight: Experience in global or domestic inventory movement and depot management.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to lead meetings and present technical supply chain challenges to leadership and multifunctional teams.

Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience in a CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) environment or working closely with CMC stakeholders.
• Strong background in vendor management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or specialized ERP/Supply Chain software.
