KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Recruiter / HR Generalist in Dallas, TX. This is a newly created, hands‑on position focused approximately 75% on recruiting and 25% on general HR support. The Recruiter / HR Generalist will take ownership of ongoing hiring needs while also serving as a resource for employees and leadership on day-to-day HR matters. Recruiting is the primary focus of this position. The organization regularly hires hourly, site‑level employees, with hiring volume fluctuating based on business needs. Common positions include Leasing Professionals, Maintenance Technicians, Community Managers, and other operational roles. Previous multifamily or property management experience is helpful but not required. The team is very open to recruiters from other fast‑paced, high‑volume environments such as hospitality, hotels, restaurants, franchise organizations, retail, field services, or other industries with significant hourly hiring. This is also a growing and evolving organization, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly. The right person will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of building or improving processes while simultaneously managing the day‑to‑day workload. Key Responsibilities Recruiting – Approximately 75% Own full‑cycle recruiting for a variety of hourly and salaried positions. Manage a fluctuating requisition load based on current business and operational needs. Recruit frequently for site‑level positions including Leasing Professionals, Maintenance Technicians, Community Managers, and related roles. Source candidates through appropriate recruiting channels, including Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other available resources. Review applications and resumes and identify candidates who meet position requirements. Conduct initial phone screens and first‑round candidate interviews. Evaluate candidate experience, communication skills, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the interview and hiring process. Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for positions with recurring hiring needs. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and adjust recruiting strategies as needs change. Help improve recruiting processes, candidate tracking, and overall hiring efficiency. Support recruiting for both hourly and salaried employees as needed. HR Support – Approximately 25% Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities. Assist employees with routine questions related to benefits, timecards, company policies, and general HR matters. Support payroll‑related administration, including timecard review, employee changes, and other payroll inputs. Enter and maintain applicable employee and payroll information within Paycom. Assist with bonus calculations and other recurring HR/payroll administrative activities as needed. Maintain accurate employee information and HR documentation. Serve as an accessible first point of contact for routine employee questions and concerns. Assist with employee relations matters and elevate more complex or sensitive issues to leadership when appropriate. Balance employee support with appropriate application of company policies and organizational requirements. Assist with developing and improving HR processes as the organization continues to grow. Take on additional recruiting and HR responsibilities as business needs evolve. Required Qualifications Experience using Paycom is required Approximately 3–5+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or related experience, with substantial hands‑on recruiting responsibility. Demonstrated experience recruiting hourly employees in a fast‑paced or high‑volume environment. Experience managing the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, resume review, candidate screening, interviewing, interview coordination, and offer/onboarding support. Experience supporting both hourly and salaried hiring. Ability to manage multiple open positions and changing hiring priorities simultaneously. Working knowledge of general HR practices and employee support. Experience with an established HRIS, payroll, or human capital management platform. Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to work independently and determine appropriate next steps without requiring a fully established process for every situation. Comfortable working in a growing organization where responsibilities and priorities may evolve. Preferred Qualifications Multifamily property management or real estate industry experience. Recruiting experience within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, franchise organizations, retail, field services, or another high‑volume hourly workforce. Experience recruiting Leasing Professionals, Maintenance Technicians, Community Managers, or similar site‑level positions. Experience supporting employee relations and general HR administration. Experience helping establish or improve recruiting and HR processes within a growing organization. This position is based at the corporate office in Dallas, TX. The strong preference is for someone who is comfortable working onsite full time, as the role will partner closely with leadership and employees in the office. However, the organization is willing to consider hybrid flexibility for a strong candidate, including a schedule of approximately three days per week onsite. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast‑moving growth environment where priorities may change as the organization expands. Ideal Candidate Profile The strongest candidate will be a recruiter first, with enough HR experience and judgment to confidently support employees and leadership with everyday HR needs. They should enjoy recruiting in an environment where hiring never completely stops and be comfortable moving between sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring managers, assisting an employee with an HR question, and then shifting priorities when a new hiring need arises. Deep multifamily experience is not necessary. A recruiter who has successfully supported a high‑volume hourly workforce and understands the urgency, persistence, and organization required to keep those positions filled could be an excellent fit.
