Requirements
- Valid WA or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Required experience with high-risk labor & delivery and antepartum care
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM/fetal monitoring skills
- Experience with high-risk L&D: pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, HELLP, diabetes/GDM, multiple gestation, malpresentation, placenta previa/abruption
- Proficiency in labor management: induction/augmentation, active management of labor, VBAC/TOLAC, use of IUPC, external/internal fetal monitoring, recognition/treatment of abnormal FHR patterns
- Knowledge in maternal therapies: magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, anticoagulation, antihypertensives
- Skills in procedures & OR support: assist/scrub for C-section, circulate for C-section, sterile vaginal exams, forceps/vacuum assistance
- Competence in newborn care: neonatal resuscitation, APGAR, newborn assessment, thermoregulation
- Ability in emergency response: hemorrhage/shock management, rapid response/code team participation
- Experience with charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery settings.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, including vital signs and fetal heart rate patterns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assess for effectiveness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in emergency interventions when necessary, addressing complications as they arise.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postpartum care.

- Compliance documents due Monday prior to start; last 4 of SSN required
- RTO (requested time off) must be listed at time of submittal
