Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient settings, developing personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Engage and educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team rounds and discussions to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in physical therapy is strongly preferred
