Registered Nurse Operating Room

$2692.80/week - Job Summary: Provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical operations while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists by coordinating the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgeries. Prepare patients for surgery, including anatomical positioning and equipment setup. Monitor and maintain aseptic techniques throughout perioperative care. Safely operate equipment utilized in the operating room and handle biohazardous materials appropriately. Document tissue allograft temperatures, verify package integrity, and log processes per manufacturer guidelines. Perform preoperative assessments and participate in patient care planning during the perioperative phase. Qualifications: Hold a current RN license in the practicing state. Possess an associate degree in Nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred. Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS certification required. Have at least two years of recent operating room circulating experience. Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system. Certifications such as CNOR or PALS are preferred.
