Shipping Coordinator | Office Assistant

Shipping Coordinator / Office Clerk
LaSalle Network is hiring for a client of ours in downtown Chicago for a fully onsite Shipping Coordinator / Office Clerk role located in the Chicago Loop. Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Packing rings and jewelry securely for shipment using UPS and FedEx
- Tracking outgoing shipments and following up on delivery delays or exceptions
- Conducting inventory checks and assisting with resolving discrepancies
- Cleaning and preparing jewelry pieces prior to shipment
- Assisting with general office coordination and administrative support
- Maintaining an organized, detail-oriented workspace
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in office coordination, administrative support, office assistant, shipping, or clerical roles
- Experience processing shipments through UPS and FedEx
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and spreadsheets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
