Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

We areseeking a Locums Psychiatrist to provide temporary coverage at an adultIntensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) inMansfield Center, CT. The psychiatrist will work closely with amultidisciplinary behavioral health team to provide patient-centeredpsychiatric care for adults in structured treatment programs.

Compensation: $220 Per Hour

CoverageDates & Schedule

Assignment Dates: 10/21/2026 - 11/17/2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No weekend or on-call responsibilities

PracticeSetting

Adult IOP and PHP programs
Structured, team-based psychiatric care
Focus on evidence-based interventions and patient stabilization

ClinicalResponsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Participate in treatment planning and team meetings
Provide guidance and supervision to therapy staff as needed
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
Experience in adult IOP/PHP programs preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
