Systems Engineer II, Radar Systems Engineer Onsite

Position Summary Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to join our Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate at Woburn, MA. The engineer will support X‑Band Radar technology, providing operational technical support to deployed radars, analyzing and reporting radar performance, and developing troubleshooting and corrective action plans for mechanical, electrical, microwave, software, and cyber security issues. Requirements include being a U.S. citizen or qualified U.S. person with an active, transferable Secret Level security clearance. The role is on‑site and requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Responsibilities Plan, track, coordinate, and report on all sustaining engineering activities for assigned radar systems. Create and update integrated master schedule for radar engineering activities, including maintenance event planning with site team, logistics, and maintenance planning. Create and update internal and external health and status reports for radars. Work with a multidisciplinary team to track open issues awaiting engineering input. Qualifications Degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with MATLAB, Python, Linux, Unix or other programming languages. Preferred Qualifications Experience with radar systems and/or system integration. Experience in radar systems test environments and development of test scripts. Experience creating procedures, plans, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation. Experience with systems integration, test, data analysis, verification, root‑cause identification, and corrective action implementation. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
