Main Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Answer incoming calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Works within clinic guidelines, accurately schedules, reschedules, cancels, and confirms all patient appointments.
• Collects and processes payments, co-payments, and insurance information.
• Accurately takes phone messages from all staff and routes appropriately in a timely manner.
• Monitors Provider schedules throughout the day and makes appropriate adjustments throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting areas.
• Prepare and organize charts for same-day, next-day, and future appointments.
• Obtaining and preparing patient records for appointments.
• Maintains proper knowledge of the computer and its scheduling system.
• Performing tasks related to medical records management.
• Performs other work-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
• Flexibility to work at other clinic locations and provide coverage as required.
• Availability for evening and weekend hours to meet the needs of patients.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) eClinicalWorks practice management software is beneficial but not required.

Schedule:

• Typically, four days a week, with one evening shift (until 7:00 pm).
• Every other weekend, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday (Minnetonka).
