Benefits Great working location Health insurance Refer-a-friend bonus Weekly payroll 24-hour accessibility Personalized service Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school /institution or equivalent documented training Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Medical Assisting experience BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) Strong MA for back office assisting with pediatric immunizations with also front office Epic is required Pediatric experience is required Preferred Preferred CMA - Certified Or Registered Medical Assistant Vaccination in a fast paced/high volume clinic (Highly preferred) Skills & Abilities Highly motivated Ability to work independently Willingness to learn Fast learner Responsibilities Provide back-office clinical support in a Pediatrics setting. Room pediatric patients, obtain and document vital signs, and prepare patients for provider visits. Administer pediatric immunizations according to established protocols and maintain accurate immunization documentation. Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) as required. Assist with maintaining and verifying appropriate vaccine refrigerator/freezer temperatures and report any concerns promptly. Accurately document patient information, clinical activities, immunizations, and other relevant details in EPIC. Answer incoming calls, assist with patient inquiries, and schedule and coordinate appointments. Perform insurance verification and assist with related front-office duties. Request, receive, scan, and maintain patient medical records and other required documentation. Provide both front-office and back-office support based on departmental needs. Maintain accurate and complete patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with established procedures. Float to other nearby offices, as needed, to support staffing and patient-care needs. Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr Power Personnel
