Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionPreferred• At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle • At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and Informatica ETL tool – MUST• At least 2 years of experience in Teradata - MUST• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects• At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review• At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Informatica and Oracle Projects • Knowledge of Informatica Architecture, Projection Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs• Knowledge of data loading techniques using Informatica tool.• Knowledge Best Practices in Informatica, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs • Strong knowledge of Teradata Architecture: Nodes (AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS• Efficient usage of Teradata DDL Statements – Derived Tables, Volatile Tables and Global Temporary Tables• Hands on Knowledge on Teradata Concepts – Primary Index, Partitioned Primary Index, Secondary Index, Join Index and Compression Techniques.• Understand the Concept of Locking Mechanisms in Teradata • Experience on Query Tuning mechanisms using indexes & proper usage of Statistics in Teradata• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment• Experience in Financial domain • Strong analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentQualificationsQualifications Basic• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
