Project Engineer

What You Will Do

As a Project Engineer, you will support the project management team by coordinating documentation, logistics, and communication across the jobsite. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Coordination and Documentation

• Manage and track project documentation including RFIs, change orders, ASIs, QA/QC records, submittals, and supplemental design documents
• Maintain organized and accurate jobsite records to support project progress and compliance

Logistics and Field Support

• Oversee jobsite logistics such as office supplies, badging, and orientation paperwork
• Coordinate equipment and material deliveries
• Support subcontractor and vendor management to ensure alignment with project goals

Project Controls and Planning

• Assist in assembling estimates, budgets, and cost tracking
• Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
• Update project schedules and support productivity tracking
• Attend project meetings and contribute to planning discussions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts quickly
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
• Professionalism, diplomacy, and tact when working with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
