Interventional Radiology Technician

Seeking an experienced IR Tech to perform interventional radiology procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Assist physicians during complex IR procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and anesthesia support as needed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any procedural emergencies promptly.
• Document procedural details and patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards including ARRT certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of IR experience; 2 years preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interventional radiology procedures and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must have recent EPIC experience; willing to consider candidates with pending license.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
