Sr. Manager, Billing & Revenue Operations

Our client is a leading medical/healthcare organization. Reporting to the Vice President, the Sr. Manager, Billing & Revenue Operations is responsible for the overall management of billing and account receivable operations. The position is on site from two locales and does provide the ability to work virtual at times.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the billing operations are effective and efficient to ensure timely collections, reduce denials, and improve KPIs to meet benchmarks
• Manage the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes, and train others in implementing a cross-functional revenue cycle team.

Requirements:

• Must have healthcare full revenue cycle and experience in team building, supervision, addressing and preventing employee related matters, building a strong culture of team cohesiveness and growth.
• Bachelors in business administration, healthcare administration or a related field
• Related manager-level experience, this includes experience in billing operations (revenue cycle, coding, and healthcare administration teams)
• Expertise in physician-driven revenue cycle environments and operation in which they serve including multi-specialty group practices, faculty practices, PSCs, or other ambulatory care settings
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• CPC, CRCP-P, medical coding certification, billing compliance, and CDM experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Athena, ModMed, Epic, TheraOffice, Collection Agency, and Patient Financial Service calls preferred.
