Plasma Center Nurse- LPN

Job Overview Position: Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Eligible for a $3,000 sign‑on bonus and an hourly wage in the range of $28.16 to $38.72. The role is located in Vancouver, WA, USA, and requires full‑time, exempt employment. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and evaluation of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results, notifying donors of unsuitable results. Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, assist in developing Center Physician standing orders, and coordinate donor transport to emergency care. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health or emergency response as needed. Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations of pandemic threats in the local community. Provide center‑level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) in accordance with BioLife Medical Affairs guidance. Maintain familiarity with plasma collection industry regulations or a manufacturing environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, or a graduate‑equivalent recognized nursing program with state requirements. Current license or certification as an LPN or LVN in the state of assignment. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy within the state of licensure. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialists. At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.
