Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Current CPR certification is required
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting is required
• Homecare Homebase experience is required

Assignment Details

• Local travel is required
• Heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, standing, and prolonged walking are required

Location Highlights

Fernley offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in western Nevada. The city sits about 35 miles east of Reno and near Interstate 80, which supports convenient travel across the Truckee Meadows region. Pyramid Lake is within about 40 miles and offers boating and fishing, while Lahontan State Recreation Area is roughly 30 miles away for camping and shoreline access. Fernley has a quieter small-city setting with access to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center and day trips to Lake Tahoe, which is about 90 miles west.
