## MRI TechnologistApply: On-Site: Hampton, VA: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR-107105**City/State**Hampton, VA**Work Shift**Second (Evenings)**Overview:****Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring an MRI Technologist to work a Full Time, Evening/Swing Shift.** **20K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!** **Hours*** Thursday - Saturday: 9am - 9:30pm* Rotating Call and Holiday Schedule **Overview** Performs general MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Provide quality MRI Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Duties may include but are not limited to: Administration of MRI contrast per protocol, Evaluates and approves patient MRI safety screening form prior to patient entering scanner, Knowledge of MRI safety zones and other safety regulations. Reviewing patient records for accuracy and evaluating all implants and devices through vendor resources. Acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel. Maintaining patient records, reports, and files. Performs patient MRI exam per protocol, reviews imaging for accuracy and quality prior to sending for interpretation, examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. **Education*** Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology (Required)* Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program (Preferred) **Certification/Licensure*** CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT (Required)* Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire* BLS **Experience*** Six (6) months of MR experience and/or completion of MR didactic program (Strongly Preferred)* Experience with GE and Siemens Equipment (Preferred, but not required)Keyword: MRI, Imaging, Radiology, MRI Tech, Talroo - Allied Health, MonsterWe provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.24 - $61.82 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
