Chisago Lakes Area School District 2144 is currently seeking applicants for a Para - Administrative Support position. This role is located at the High School and does not require licensure. The salary for the 2025/2026 school year is Schedule B Step F - N, ranging from $19.20 to $23.33 per hour. Benefits are provided under the 284 Agreement.

High School Hall Monitor Position Description: We are looking for a reliable, student-centered individual to serve as a High School Hall Monitor. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive school environment throughout the school day. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, calm under pressure, and able to build strong relationships with both students and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring hallways and common areas, supporting student supervision, assisting with maintaining a safe and orderly environment, and responding to student needs and concerns throughout the day. This position requires frequent walking and movement throughout the building, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and consistency.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism, excellent attendance, reliability, and accountability, the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff, strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills, the ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs throughout the day, a willingness to assist wherever needed to support school operations, the ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team, and the physical ability to walk and move throughout the building for extended periods of time.

This position is essential in supporting a positive school culture and helping students stay safe, connected, and successful throughout the school day.
