Maintenance Tech - Full-Time

Overview Maintenance Technician position at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence, a faith‑based nonprofit short‑term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility located in West Palm Beach, FL. Compensation & Schedule $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on skills and experience Full‑time schedule: regular evenings as needed plus alternate weekends Responsibilities Follow maintenance schedules and perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs Maintain equipment in laundry, kitchen, boiler rooms, and individual air‑conditioners Assist during resident or emergency evacuations as required On‑call maintenance response 24 hours a day as scheduled Perform temporary security guard duties when needed Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, carpentry, drywall, or building trades preferred Minimum of 3 years of building‑maintenance experience, including plumbing and electrical work Independent contracting experience in general repairs is a plus Ability to read and write basic English Physical capability: lift 25 lb. (5 ft) and move up to 50 ft.
