This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies. Measure and record vital signs, weight,percentage of meal consumedintake/output as directed. Assistresidents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable. Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff. Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation andin accordance withfacility procedures Follow infection control,safety,and universal precaution guidelinesat all times. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment Maintains a clean,safeand comfortable environment Education and/or Experience: High School Graduate/GED Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within120 daysof employment; nameentered intostate nurse aide registry.
