What You'll Do
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols
  • Operate advanced CT imaging equipment, capturing diagnostic images with precision
  • Monitor patient vitals during procedures and communicate findings to physicians
  • Maintain radiation safety standards to minimize exposure for patients and staff
  • Archive and retrieve images using picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
  • Perform quality control and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal imaging performance
  • Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
Required:
  • ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist registered in Louisiana
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with medical imaging software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
