About the Role:
As an LVN with Avir at Kirbyville, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician. You will be responsible for administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with treatments and procedures. Your excellent communication skills will also enable you to effectively educate patients and their families on their healthcare plans and needs.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Perform tasks such as venipuncture, wound care, and irrigation
Assist with procedures and treatments, including cardiorespiratory and neurological procedures
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:
Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
0 years of experience as an LVN; new graduates welcome to apply
Ability to lift and move patients of varying weights; ability to push/pull wheelchairs and stretch stands as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
