About the Position

Travel ER RN is needed for start ASAP in a facility in Michigan. MI license is required. 2 years of experience is required. ACLS, and BLS certifications are required. CEN, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred. 12 hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. There are 12 beds in the ER. Nurse to Patient Ratios in the ER - 2-4 depending on ESI level. The average daily census in the ER – 30 to 45. Telemetry on the unit or in your department - Yes, GE. Nurse are required to complete monitoring and alert provider to changes, not required to measure and diagnose rhythm strips. Monitor techs - No. Does you unit titrate any drips, Yes. Drips like Heparin, Nitro, administer TPA, TNKase, complete conscious sedations, assist with intubation. Vents – Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow. Respiratory assists with vented patients. No floating.
