Facility: East Patient Building Location: Sioux Falls, SD Address: 1305 W 18th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: [not specified] Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Cares for patients throughout all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Responsible for planning and coordinating care, patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions. Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) – Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring; or multistate licensure in a NLC state. At least one year of experience. At least six months of travel experience. Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for. Obtains and maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
