Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Harrisburg, South Dakota

Advance your career in a dynamic cardiac and peripheral care environment, working directly with Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. This contract opportunity supports a comprehensive Cath Lab service, providing exposure to a wide variety of local and peripheral interventional procedures.


Schedule/Hours

• 8-hour day shifts
• Rotating on-call responsibilities during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist
• Experience working with procedures including Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid interventions, and pacemaker insertions
• Skilled in operating Cath Lab technology including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and multiple coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices
• Familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson systems for PACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to fluently alternate between scrub and circulator roles, including operation of x-ray equipment
• Commitment to excellence in patient safety, quality outcomes, and multidisciplinary teamwork

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in a full spectrum of cardiac and peripheral procedures, both interventional and diagnostic
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and therapeutic Cath Lab equipment
• Support all aspects of case preparation, execution, and follow-up, including helping in pre/post areas and patient transport
• Maintain inventory and contribute to supply management for seamless daily operations
• Accurate record keeping and assistance with procedural billing
