As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to incidents, including assisting with access-controlled areas and individuals requiring intervention. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
