Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for labor and delivery patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with obstetric team, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and other disciplines; communicate clearly across shifts.
- Maintain accurate documentation, monitor patient safety, and administer medications per policy.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to respond to evolving clinical situations.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Relevant clinical experience in labor and delivery or perinatal care
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in an inpatient obstetric care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently when needed
