Title
Traveling ICU Nurse

Schedule
- Shift: Day shift
- Days: Every Saturday, Every Sunday, plus 1 additional day per week
- Total hours: 36 hours per week

Assignment Details
- Patient population: Adults / Geriatrics; trauma, transplant, burn, surgical, and neuro overflow

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Ohio RN license required (must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (NIH)
- Core clinical skills: ventilator care, vasoactive drip titration, arterial/central/PICC line management, blood product administration, CRRT familiarity, trach care, bronchoscopy/line/bedside procedures, ABG and dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation/PPE, IV starts, wound/dressing care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a trauma, surgical, and burn ICU environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and clinical symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting in electronic medical records.
- Assist in procedures as necessary, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Compliance / Notes
- Fingerprinting is required immediately upon contract signing; compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
