Purchaser
Pay: $65,000–$90,000 annually (DOE)
Location: Baytown, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Purchaser to support the procurement of heavy machinery components, rigging hardware, repair and maintenance materials, and operational supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical purchasing and be able to source quality parts while maintaining cost-effective purchasing practices.

Responsibilities

• Procure heavy machinery components, rigging hardware, and operational supplies.
• Source repair and maintenance parts from qualified vendors.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Track orders and resolve delivery or quality issues as needed.
• Ensure purchasing activities align with company policies and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience .
• Experience purchasing mechanical parts, heavy equipment components, repair and maintenance materials, and heavy parts is required.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with purchasing systems and Microsoft Office.
