Neuro ICU Travel Nurse Day and night rotation with every other weekend scheduled Rotation occurs every 4 weeks Note: This schedule is approximate and based on unit requirements. Final details will be provided by the manager during the interview. Schedule Three 12-hour shifts per week Shift times: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Totaling 36 hours weekly Patient Ratio Estimated ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 Floating Floating within units of equal or lower acuity is required Experience and Certifications At least 2 years of Neuro ICU experience Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only) Skills IV insertion Telemetry monitoring Ventilator management Intracranial pressure monitoring EHR Experience Epic system Parking Permit Options Parking permits can be purchased through the campus parking service.
