A pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in Southwest Virginia, supporting a 200-bed community hospital. This contract position requires immediate availability and offers a consistent day-shift schedule with a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts.

• Mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize hospital systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a healthcare team
