Travel Nurse Educator – Perioperative Services

A hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator with a strong perioperative background to support staff education, competency validation, and clinical excellence within the Operating Room.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• AHA BLS
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• CVOR experience
• Robotics experience
• Peri-Op 101/Educator experience
• Scrub & Circulate experience

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Nursing (or currently enrolled)
• Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC)
• Specialty certification (CNOR preferred)

Responsibilities

• Educate and mentor perioperative staff
• Lead competency validation and staff development initiatives
• Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Serve as a clinical expert and perioperative resource
