Exciting Full-Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Selma, Alabama! $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS. MainStreet Family Care is growing and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team full time. You will provide patient‑focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will lead a small team while working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal Suturing and splinting Managing general orthopedic evaluations Reviewing X‑rays (with radiologist over‑read) Providing general dermatology and eye care Interpreting general EKGs and practicing emergency management skills Assisting with general gynecology care Treating children of all ages Handling occupational medicine cases Offering telemedicine services Schedule MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON) Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF) Qualifications Physician Assistant Board Certification required MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly) DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (cost covered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred Compensation and Benefits Health, Dental, Vision coverage Malpractice insurance Starting bonus of $5,000 Bonus incentive opportunities $750 CME allowance per year UpToDate subscription Paid time off Paid orientation and training 401(k) eligibility after 90 days Rotating shifts – work just 7 out of 14 days Equal Opportunity Employer MAINSTREET FAMILY CARE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
