The Town of Edgartown is seeking a qualified Building Official to oversee building compliance and inspections. Responsibilities include reviewing plans for compliance, inspecting construction projects, and addressing violations. Candidates must possess a Building Official certification, a construction supervisor's license, and effective communication skills. The role requires detailed knowledge of building materials and methods and the ability to deal with the public regarding construction-related issues.
