Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and document all care provided. Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders. Provide instant medical care in emergencies; Counsel client and family through care process while updating the family on a regular basis. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families. Keep other licensed clinical professionals informed on items related to the patient's care. Monitor and track changes in the client/patient's condition and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed.Requirements:Current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license valid in the State of Texas, requiredCurrent CPR/BLS Certification (in-person only), requiredNegative TB skin test or chest x-ray within past year, requiredMinimum one (1) year of documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, requiredCurrent and valid Texas Driver's License, requiredCurrent and valid automobile insurance, requiredMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
