Electronics Technician, Senior

The Opportunity:

Fabricate, repair, and maintain electronics systems and equipment. Create prototypes based on schematics, engineering drawings, complex manuals, and other technical documentation. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. Provide guidance for less experienced team members, as needed.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and deploying tactical communications systems and operations systems
• Experience with tactical radios such as the PRC-167 and PRC-160
• Experience with COMSEC handling processes
• Ability to develop functional equipment and system test procedures
• Ability to work at an integration facility
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Starlink, Wireless, and TacSat satellite systems
• Experience with cable fabrication
• Experience with systems engineering
• Knowledge of installation and integration in an AS9100 facility
• Graduate of Military Communication System Schools

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
