Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Location Augusta, GA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population in a Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry setting Manage a patient caseload with diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vac management, and bariatric care Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 on a 33-bed unit with an average daily census of 28 Document and communicate patient information using SBAR methodology within the Epic electronic health record system Float within the facility and scope of practice as needed Fulfill call requirements including every other weekend, holidays as required, and relief charge responsibilities Required Qualifications Active RN licensure in Georgia or a valid Compact state license required at time of submission Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience (first-time travelers accepted) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system Ability to work every other weekend and holidays per assignment requirements Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a Medical Surgical or Remote Telemetry unit Familiarity with bariatric and wound vac patient care Experience using SBAR communication framework in a clinical setting Why Join Us Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates Opportunity to work in a structured, well-supported unit with clear scheduling expectations and a consistent patient population Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773377.
