Are you a litigation attorney looking for substantial courtroom experience, hands-on trial work, and a clear path to partnership without the culture of a large law firm? A highly respected California litigation practice is seeking attorneys with strong litigation skills to join its growing Lemon Law Defense team.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who want meaningful litigation experience, long-term career growth, and the flexibility of a fully remote practice. Prior Lemon Law experience is not required. The firm will train attorneys who have a solid litigation foundation and a desire to develop trial skills.

About the Role

This position focuses on defending major automotive manufacturers in California Lemon Law matters. Attorneys will handle cases from inception through resolution and gain meaningful exposure to all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from commencement through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Conduct written discovery and manage discovery strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend case management conferences and court appearances
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Work closely with clients and senior attorneys
• Gain hands-on trial experience and courtroom exposure

Qualifications

Required

• Active California Bar membership
• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience
• Discovery experience
• Deposition experience
• Experience appearing at CMCs, status conferences, or similar court hearings
• Must reside in California

• Base Salary: $165,000 - $220,000+ DOE
