About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Investor Relations with a focus on healthcare and life sciences. The successful candidate will be a senior client advisor and business leader, responsible for the development and execution of investor relations strategies, client engagements, team development, and operational initiatives. This role involves leading a portfolio of client accounts, providing leadership support, and maintaining oversight of all client deliverables to ensure exceptional quality. The Managing Director will also serve as the primary client relationship lead, advise on investor engagement and corporate messaging, and monitor industry trends to inform client strategies. Team leadership and development, as well as business growth through market expansion and strategic leadership, are key components of the position. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in investor relations, healthcare, life sciences, finance, communications, or consulting, with a strong preference for those with prior agency or advisory experience. The role requires a strong network within the healthcare, biotechnology, and investment communities, excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities, and a proven track record in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced client-service environment. The Managing Director will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree, with additional qualifications including recognized subject matter expertise in investor relations and capital markets communications, and experience in business development and client acquisition. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating in technology-enabled environments, including the use of emerging tools, and will demonstrate a commitment to organizational growth, collaboration, and team success.
